Mark Paquette has extensive experience in software development and strategic CRM solutions. Mark began their career in 1979 as a Development Engineer at Honeywell, where they designed test systems for aircraft and missile guidance & instrumentation systems. In 1983, they resigned in protest of the arms race and returned to school. In 1984, they became the Manager of Software Development at MECC, where they led teams of techies developing educational software products for Windows, Mac, DOS and Apple ][ computers, and was responsible for localization of MECC products for European and Japanese markets. In 1997, they became the Proprietor of Mark Paquette Software Studio. Finally, in 1998, they co-founded and became the CTO of thedatabank, gbc, where they provide strategic CRM solutions that help nonprofit and social sector organizations overcome their information challenges and accomplish their missions.
Mark Paquette obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota between 1975 and 1980. Mark then obtained a Mini MBA from the University of St. Thomas in 1998. In 2015, they completed a course in Cybersecurity, Big Data from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold an edX Honor Code Certificate for Cybersecurity: Technology, Application and Policy from edX.
