Freddie Sassoon

Freddie Sassoon is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in sports and brand management. Currently serving as Head of Marketing at The Football Association since February 2019, Freddie oversees marketing strategy for England and grassroots programs, having previously held positions including Brand Lead and Senior Marketing Manager for the England Men's and Lionesses teams. Prior experience includes serving as Business Director at Cake (Havas), managing Gallagher's title sponsorship of Premiership Rugby, and leading brand campaigns for Carling. Previous roles at Havas Sports & Entertainment involved key partnerships with Barclays and Coca-Cola on major campaigns such as the Barclays Premier League and Share a Coke. Additional experience includes account management for the Rugby Football Union at Four Communications and an internship with IMG Sports Media. Freddie holds a degree from Newcastle University.
