Irfan Kawri

Irfan Kawri is an experienced football coach and mentor, currently serving as a Football Insights Coach & Mentor at Professional Game Match Officials Limited since September 2023, where responsibilities include coaching match officials in game awareness and football intelligence. Concurrently, Kawri holds multiple roles at The Football Association, including Talent ID 2 Tutor, Coach Developer, and Coach Mentor, focusing on personalized mentorship and professional development. Additional experience includes roles with the Professional Footballers' Association as AIMS Coach and Player Mentor, and as Mentoring Lead for The Little Sports Group overseeing primary school coaches. Previous positions include Head of Coaching and Youth Development at Chorley Football Club, and coaching roles at clubs such as Burnley FC, Stalybridge Celtic FC, Bolton Wanderers, and Queens Park Rangers. Kawri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Science from The University of Bolton.
