James King has extensive experience in finance and strategy, currently serving as Head of Strategy & Planning at JLR since September 2016. Previous roles at JLR include Finance Business Partner across various divisions, showcasing a strong background in financial analysis and operations. Simultaneously, James has contributed to The Football Association as a Referee Coach and held several officiating roles since 2009, with a temporary sabbatical following the birth of two children. James also gained earlier finance experience through undergraduate placements at Jaguar Land Rover and Royal Mail, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Warwick.
