Mark Cowan is an experienced soccer coach and sports scientist with a robust background in youth development and team management. Currently serving as Foundation Phase Academy Coach and Development Centre Coach at Everton Football Club since January 2022, Mark also works as a Regional Talent Reporter for England's WU14 - WU21 teams and has been associated with Tranmere Rovers FC as a first team sports scientist and technical coach since June 2020. Mark's previous roles include coaching positions at various clubs, such as Vauxhall Motors and Airbus UK Broughton, demonstrating a commitment to player development across multiple age groups. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Sports Performance Science and has completed UEFA A and Elite Youth A Licenses from the FAW Trust, complementing a solid foundation in sports and exercise science attained at the University of Chester. Additionally, Mark has experience in providing detailed opposition analysis as a scout and in working with children with special needs as a PE teaching assistant.
