Joshua W. Murfree

Joshua W. Murfree, Jr., Ph.D. has an extensive work experience. Joshua W. currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer at The Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority since August 2016. Prior to this, they were the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at Fort Valley State University starting from September 2013.

In 1994, Joshua became involved with the 100 Black Men of America, Incorporated, where they held several roles including the Vice-Chairman of Operations. Joshua W. played a significant role in the organization's development, starting as the Charter Member and founding President of the 100 Black Men of Rome, Georgia in 1993.

From June 2010 to June 2013, Joshua served as the Superintendent of Schools at the Dougherty County School System.
