Matthew Burns

Matthew Burns has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Matthew has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Most recently, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Fusion since August 2022. Prior to that, they were the President at Fusion from October 2018 to July 2022. Matthew also served as a Board Member at TRANSPONDR from September 2019 to August 2022. Before joining Fusion and TRANSPONDR, Matthew worked at MarketSource Inc. as the Operations Director from May 2013 to October 2018. At MarketSource, they led the Operational Support Organization and worked with major clients in the consumer electronics and wireless retail industries. Prior to that, Matthew had a long tenure at RadioShack, where they held various roles including Operations Director - Retail Services Channel, Director of Merchandising Operations, Assistant Director of Store Communications, and Manager of Store Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing internal communications, developing store policies and procedures, and implementing retail strategies. Matthew's work at RadioShack resulted in significant improvements in operational efficiency, cost control, and productivity growth.

Matthew Burns attended Cuyahoga Falls High School from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Akron from 1988 to 1993, focusing on Secondary Education and Sociology.
