Courtnei Secrest

Courtnei Secrest, J.D., currently serves as a Business Compliance Specialist at The General® since May 2021. Previously, Courtnei held the position of Corporate Paralegal at AdhereHealth, LLC from November 2019 to May 2021. Prior experience includes a teaching role at Maury County Public Schools from July 2013 to July 2019, where Courtnei was recognized as MCEA High School Teacher of the Year and MPHS MCEA Teacher of the Year in 2019, and received the MCEA New Teacher of the Year award in 2013. Courtnei also contributed to professional development as a presenter and trainer, led Project Based Learning initiatives, and served on various leadership teams. Additionally, Courtnei gained legal experience as a Legal Intern for the Tennessee State Board of Education in 2018. Courtnei earned a Juris Doctor degree from Nashville School of Law (2014-2019) and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) (2008-2012).
