Susan McDowell is the current Advisor at Theia Analytics Group. Susan has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, working with some of the biggest names in the business.
Susan started their career in 1999 as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch. Susan spent seven years there before moving to Morgan Stanley in 2006. At Morgan Stanley, Susan quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Head of ESG and Fixed Income Manager Analysis in just eight years. In this role, they led a team of investment professionals in ESG and manager analysis for selection of over 800 funds and strategies.
In 2014, Susan was promoted to Global Capital Markets in the Institutional Securities Group. Susan spent six months in this role before being promoted again to their current position. As Advisor at Theia Analytics Group, Susan is responsible for recommending managers/strategies to Morgan Stanley's Global Investment Committee and MSWM financial advisors to implement current investment themes.
Susan has been widely recognized for their work in the field of sustainable investing. In 2017, they were named one of the "Top 100 Most Influential People in Finance" by Worth Magazine.
