Nathan Holmberg has held various roles in technology companies throughout their career. Nathan began their work experience as a Marker/Demonstrator at The University of Auckland in 2003, where they assisted students with their assignments and labs. In addition, they worked as a Research Programmer during that time, independently developing a prototype AJAX visualization application. Nathan also conducted research on nerve fiber tracking and visualization methods.

In 2006, Holmberg joined Serato Audio Research as a Lead Developer and Product Manager. Nathan worked on projects such as Video-SL, The Bridge, Scratch Live, and Whitelabel. Nathan continued in this role until 2011.

After that, Holmberg worked as the Head of Software at 77 Pieces Ltd., overseeing the development of a tool chain for garment digitization and fit prediction. Nathan was responsible for project management, product definition, and working with upper management to define goals and timelines.

In 2013, Holmberg became the Lead Architect at Serato INC LP, where they oversaw the technical development and architectural roadmap for the company's applications. Nathan was also responsible for hiring strategy, evaluation, and structure of teams. Additionally, they implemented data-driven decision programs.

From 2014 to 2016, Holmberg held the role of VP of Engineering at Entopix. Their responsibilities included development support of research in NLP, Text Analytics, and Machine Learning projects. Nathan also oversaw CI/CD, infrastructure, and source control, and worked on projects involving chatbots, entity extraction systems, and semantic analysis.

Most recently, Holmberg has been serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Thematic Ltd since 2015. Nathan is responsible for helping companies apply advanced text analytics to customer feedback data. Nathan has developed a new unsupervised method for extracting key themes and sentiment from comments.

Nathan Holmberg started their education in 1999 when they attended Åtvidaberg Gymnasiskolan for their high school education, where they focused on Vetenskap (Science). From 2000 to 2006, they attended The University of Auckland for their higher studies. During this time, they pursued multiple degrees including an MSc (Hons) in Computer Science and International Business, a BSc in Computer Science, and a BCom in International Business. Additionally, in 2004 to 2005, they further specialized in Computer Science (Visualization) while at The University of Auckland. Overall, Nathan Holmberg has a diverse educational background with a strong emphasis on computer science and international business.
