Johnny Trieu

Johnny Trieu has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and administration. Johnny started their career as a Summer Intern at the Chinese Mutual Aid Association in 2011. In 2012, they worked as an Intern IT Admin at the South East Asia Center, where they were responsible for installing printers, computers, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Johnny then joined Residents and Greek Life at IIT in 2015 as a Community Desk Manager. Johnny adapted to organizational changes, streamlined processes, and implemented new software to improve productivity. In 2016, they took on the role of Senior Resident Adviser and managed a team of Resident Advisers and Community Desk Assistants. Johnny established a safe and reliable community, optimized hiring processes, and handled accountability actions.

In 2019, Johnny transitioned to Publicis Groupe as a System Administrator, where they contributed to system maintenance and management. Currently, in 2022, they are working as a System Engineer at The Mill.

Johnny Trieu attended Mather High School from 2009 to 2013 in the School of Technology. After completing high school, they went on to attend the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2018. During their time at the Illinois Institute of Technology, they pursued a degree in Infomation Security within the School of Applied Technology Information Technology and Management.
