Nilangshu Majumdar

Nilangshu Majumdar has a solid work experience in the field of lighting and visual effects. Nilangshu started their career in 2012 as a CG Artist at Caustic Studio and then worked as a 3D Generalist at Filaments Visual Effects LLC in 2013. Nilangshu then joined Blowfish FX as a Lighting Artist in 2014 and later moved to AATS Animation as a Lighting Artist in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Lighting Artist at MAGMYTH - India. Nilangshu then joined Yash Raj Films as a VFX Lighting Artist in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Lighting Technical Director at Double Negative. In 2020, they joined 88 Pictures as a Lighting Artist. Currently, they are working at The Mill as a Senior Lighting and LookDev Artist since August 2021.

Nilangshu Majumdar attended Centennial College from 2008 to 2011, where they studied Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Multimedia from Punjab Technical University. Prior to these higher education experiences, Nilangshu Majumdar attended Springdale High School, although the start and end dates, as well as the specific degree or field of study, are not provided.
