Dickon Johnstone has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dickon is the Founder & CEO of Themis since 2018. Dickon has also held leadership positions at UK Modern Slavery Training Delivery Group, where they served as Co-Chair and Chair - Financial Services, contributing to the production of standardized training to raise awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking. Prior to that, they were the Director of March House. Dickon also served as the Country CEO - UK (SMF 19) at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) from 2017 to 2019. Before joining FAB, they worked at National Bank of Abu Dhabi as the COO - UK & Chief of Staff - Europe & Americas, and later as the Executive Director, Chief of Staff, Global Wealth. Dickon has also held positions at Abu Dhabi Finance, Barclays, Accenture, Château de Sours, and Agence Pain Vin & Company.

Dickon Johnstone obtained an MA (Hons) degree in French from The University of Edinburgh from 1997 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various certifications in areas such as AML/CFT, anti-slavery, anti-bribery & corruption, financial crime, trade-based money laundering, anti-money laundering, value negotiation skills, securities & investment, blue ocean strategy, EFQM leaders for excellence, strategic business planning, and managing successful programs. The years of obtaining these certifications range from 2006 to 2022.
