Sean started their formal education at Backpackers University from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a degree in Travel & Tourism, specializing in Survival. Sean then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Kwantlen Polytechnic University from 1990 to 1991. Following that, Sean attended The University of British Columbia from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
