Ujwal Thakar

Ujwal Thakar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit and advisory sectors. Currently serving as Partner and Cofounder at Ujwal Impact Advisers since June 2021 and Director at Lighthouse Communities Foundation since October 2020, Ujwal also holds the position of Partner at N/Core, an incubator for early-stage nonprofits addressing critical issues in India. Additionally, Ujwal has significant governance roles, including Chairman of the Board at Educate Girls and Board Member positions at Arogya World, Ummeed Child Development Center, and Dharma Life. An experienced advisor, Ujwal contributed to KPMG as a Senior Advisor from January 2014 to January 2018 and served as an Independent Director at Fedfina Financial Services Ltd. from February 2015 to September 2016. Ujwal Thakar holds an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a B.Sc. in Physics from Fergusson College.
