Director of Marketing at Theorem Technologies

Marc Quintavalle has a long history of working in marketing and communications roles. In 2019, they held the roles of Head of Creative and Marketing Operations at Thalēs and Director of Marketing at Theorem Technologies. From 2017 to 2019, they were Assistant Vice President, Social Media at CIT, where they developed the social content, publishing and communications strategy for consumer and commercial banking prospects, partnered with individual business units to create and implement innovative B2B social acquisition strategies, and wrote copy and developed an enterprise-wide content strategy and planning calendar to support brand and reputation efforts. From 2016 to 2017, they were Corporate Communications Manager and Marketing Manager at E*TRADE Financial, where they managed day-to-day operations and content creation for social platforms, partnered internally on cross-functional campaigns while developing innovative social implementations, and became a resource on social media best practices. From 2011 to 2016, they were Social Media Communications Manager and Social Media Marketing Assistant at Putnam Investments, where they managed daily operational and functional aspects of the social media program, developed annual and quarterly advertising plans and execution, and partnered with social network representatives to secure placements and develop plans. From 2010 to 2011, they were Sports Health Coordinator at Whittier Street Health Center, where they produced and ran a youth football camp geared towards promoting leadership and proper nutrition, provided Case Management to children being referred to him by providers for being in danger of becoming obese, and developed physical activities for the Race around Roxbury program. In 2010, they held a temporary Athletic Department Assistant role at Harvard University's Athletic Department. From 2008 to 2010, they were Marketing Intern at Boston University's Athletic Department, where they designed and maintained a YouTube Channel, Facebook Page and Twitter Account for the BU Athletic Department, created, implemented and maintained a Reward Program to encourage/increase fan attendance at all BU Sporting Events, and marketed twenty-one NCAA Division 1 Men and Women teams. In 2008, they were Revolution Ticket Sales Intern at The Kraft Group & Affiliates, where they assisted the Business Development group in collecting and analyzing market research data on customers of Patriot Place, performed cost analyses on future fan-event ideas being planned in order to attract new markets to Revolution games, and greeted and catered to the requests of the members of the premium seating club during Patriots home games. Lastly, they were Marketing Intern at the Boston Bruins, where they observed and reported on how social media can be leveraged by a sports team in order to increase awareness of team’s brand, researched events around New England that could be used as platform to increase awareness of the Bruins to potential fans, and promoted and increased Bruins brand awareness by interacting with fans at various events around New England.

Marc Quintavalle obtained their BSBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University in 2009, majoring in Marketing and Operations Management. In 2008, they obtained their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Boston University. In 2011, they earned their Master of Education from the Van Loan School at Endicott College, majoring in Athletic Administration.
