Matheus Soares

Matheus Soares is a software engineer who currently works at TheoremOne. Prior to this, they worked as a senior software engineer at FullStack Labs, where they were responsible for planning, architecting and developing high quality software with Frontend and Backend technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, GraphQL, MySQL, Node.js, PHP and Laravel. Matheus has also worked as a backend engineer at Yalo, where they were in charge of developing highly scalable web services with Node.js, AWS Lambdas, MongoDB and others to add custom integrations and further develop different chat bots. In their previous role as a back-end & mobile app developer at Xpress Line Logistics Services, they were responsible for the development of the XLLS mobile application for iOS and Android using Apache Cordova, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 8 & Ionic Framework 4 as the tech stack for the front-end part. Matheus also developed a RESTful API with OAuth2.0 capabilities and integrations with the Google Maps Geocoding APIs using PHP & Laravel 6 for the back-end and MySQL for the database. Finally they used several AWS products (ElasticBeanstalk, EC2, RDS, S3) to setup the infrastructure in the cloud.

Soares has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of London and a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. Matheus also has certification from Coursera in Full-Stack Web Development with React Specialization, Udemy in Angular Testing Masterclass, Coursera in Server-side Development with NodeJS, Express and MongoDB, Coursera in Front-End Web Development with React, Coursera in Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools: Bootstrap 4, and Google Actívate in Curso básico de Marketing Digital.
