Hugh Smith

Hugh Smith has been working in various roles since 1978. From 1978 to 2001, they were the Chairman of Allmakes Ltd, one of the largest suppliers of Land Rover spare parts in the UK. In 2001, they became a Non Executive Director of The Phone Room Ltd, a telephone fundraising organisation. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Non Executive Director of Hardide PLC, a company that provides a very hard wearing tungsten carbide coating to various metal components. From 2006 to 2010, they were a Non Executive Director of Nalpeiron Ltd. In 2010, they became a Non Executive Director of Enistic Ltd, an energy saving company. In 2016, they became a Non Executive Director of theprintspace, a high end printer for photography and fine art, as well as a Non Executive Director of Enistic Green Capital Ltd, a joint venture with Enistic and Zero Carbon Capital to assist organisations and companies to install energy saving measures at no cost. Additionally, since 1999, Hugh Smith has been a Private Investor, investing in various start up companies close to Oxford.

Hugh Smith attended King's College London from 1964 to 1967, where they earned a B Sc in Mechanical Engineering. Hugh then attended Cass Business School from 1967 to 1968, where they obtained an MBA in Business.
