Sasha Umaa has three years of professional work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Content Strategist for Sambhasha Center for Indo - Asian Cultural Studies and Languages. In 2021, they worked as an Art Cataloguer for Saffronart. Currently, they are employed as a Client Development Researcher and Junior Client Development Researcher for theprintspace since 2022.

Sasha Umaa has a diverse educational background. sasha began their educational journey in 2013, when they completed their High School studies at Ryan International School. sasha then attended Delhi University from 2015 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. In 2016 and 2017, they also completed a Short Term Course in Art/Art Studies, General at the National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology. From 2018 to 2020, Sasha completed a Master of Arts degree in History, Archaeology and Art at Deccan College Postgraduate and Research Institute, and also earned a PG Diploma in Heritage Management from the same institution.
