Carmela Concepcion

Carmela Concepcion is an experienced educator with a diverse background in child development and special education. Currently serving as a Professor at CUNY Bronx Community College since February 2013, Carmela teaches courses focused on child development. Additionally, Carmela has been an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College since January 2008, where instruction includes topics such as Introduction to Education and Special Education. Extensive experience as a Bilingual Special Education Teacher and Evaluator spans roles at TheraCare of New York and All About Kids from 2003 to 2014, complemented by earlier work as a Service Coordinator at the Early Intervention DOH. Carmela holds a Master of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Mercy University.
