Elizabeth Tita, PhD, has a wide range of work experience spanning over two decades. Elizabeth is currently working as a Clinical Project Manager at Theradex Oncology since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Instructor at UNC Health from July 2014 to December 2021. From January 2013 to December 2021, they held the position of Senior Hematology Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. In this role, they were responsible for managing research activities for various clinical trials and ensuring compliance and patient care. Elizabeth also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Winston-Salem State University in 2008 and as an HCOP Instructor at Howard University from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they gained research experience through a Research Internship at Abbot Laboratories Global Pharmaceutical Research and Development in 2001. Elizabeth Tita, PhD has a diverse education history. Elizabeth began their academic journey at Bennett College, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D in Pharmacology at the Howard University College of Medicine from 2000 to 2005. Later, they expanded their knowledge and skills by getting a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing, which they completed from 2009 to 2010.
