Adam Schapira

Adam Schapira has worked in the software industry for over 20 years. Adam began their career in 1998 as a FW engineer at Orckit. In 2000, they became a FW team leader at Tioga, a spin off from Orckit. In 2003, they were an Application Manager at ST Microelectronics. In 2004, they were a FW software group manager at Discretix. In 2009, they became a SW manager at Prime Sense. In 2011, they were a Real time embedded control panel SW director and embedded SW team leader at at Essence Security Ltd. In 2016, they were CTO at Paradox Security Systems, where they managed CTO, system and development teams in 3 different sites. Since 2018, they have been Director of Software at Theranica Bio-Electronics Ltd., where they are responsible for managing the SW group including mobile application (ios, Android) team, server team, and embedded software system architect, defining the requirements and the role of the application, server, and embedded device components.

Adam Schapira's education history includes a 1st degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which they completed between 1988 and 1992. Adam then completed a 2nd degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university between 1995 and 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they completed a course at IBM in Real Time Embedded SW. From 2000 to 2003, they completed a 2nd degree in MBA from Tel Aviv University. Adam then completed a Certificate in Computer Science from The Open University between 2008 and 2010. Finally, they completed a 2nd degree in Computer Science from The Open University between 2011 and 2018.
