Sandy Yacoub Garas has held a number of roles in the medical field since 2003. Starting at Columbia University Medical Center as a Pharmacy, they then moved to AlphaMedica as a Medical Writer in 2005. In 2006, they joined Novartis as a Manager, Medical Information and Communication and a Medical Information Specialist. Sandy then moved to Novartis Consumer Health in 2009, where they held the roles of Associate Director, Medical Affairs, Associate Director, Clinical Research Oncology, and Associate Medical Director. In 2015, they became Country Medical Affairs, Principal Scientist at GSK Consumer Healthcare, and in 2019 they moved to Sanofi as Medical Affairs Director/Head. Currently, they are the Head of Medical Affairs at Theranica Bio-Electronics Ltd.
