Kimberly Weir is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic growth and donor engagement within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Growth at Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga since January 2024, Kimberly previously held the role of Director of Donor Engagement and later Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving at the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. Kimberly's expertise in fostering strategic partnerships and implementing impactful programs was developed during tenure at the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association as Deputy Executive Director. Kimberly also founded and led Starting Gate Global, and has held key positions at ROI Research on Investment, Virginia Economic Development Partnership, and other organizations. Educational qualifications include an MBA from William & Mary and a BA in Spanish and International Relations from the University of Virginia.
