Jessica Jiang has a diverse work experience. Jessica began their career in 2017 as a participant in the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program, hosted by JP Morgan Chase Brooklyn Location. During this program, they learned basic coding in languages such as Python, CSS, HTML, Arduino, and JavaScript, and created a website, WaterWell, as a final project. In 2019, they interned at Connectify and was an advisor for the Lindy Scholars Program at Drexel University's Lindy Center for Civic Engagement. During this time, they tutored middle school-aged children in mathematics and literacy and mentored students in activities focused on topics such as leadership development, team-building, diversity, conflict resolution, and academic skills. Jessica also served on the Board of Directors for the Youth Volunteer Corps of Greater Philadelphia, where they were the Interim Board Chair and supported the Youth Advisory Board, updated and managed the organization's website, and organized alumni events. In 2020, they were a Software Developer (Co-op) at Vanguard and held various roles at the Society of Women Engineers, including Drexel Section - Secretary, Collegiate Leadership Institute, Drexel Section - Professional Development Director, and Drexel Section - Professional Development Chair. In 2021, they were an Event Coordinator and Mentorship Chair for the Drexel Women in Computing Society (WiCS). Jessica is currently a Software Developer at TherapyNotes, LLC.

Jessica Jiang attended Masterman Julia R Secondary School from 2015 to 2019, where they earned their High School Diploma. Jessica then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics at Drexel University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
