Stephen Foster

Steve founded TherapySouth in July 2006 with a vision that the practice would be therapist-owned, specializing in “hands-on care, close to a patient’s home or work”.

Steve received his B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1980. He has over 40 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy and is also a licensed athletic trainer.

His areas of interest include orthopedic and sports therapy. He is currently involved in the following professional associations: American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Private Practice Section and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Steve and his wife, Jana, love to spend time with their children: Katelyn (Guy), Natalie (Baylor), Abby and Kevin. He is an active member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. His hobbies include reading, fishing, as well as playing tennis and skiing.
