Justin Dang

Justin Dang has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience (UX) design and research. Justin currently works as a Product Researcher at Therapy Brands since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Change Healthcare from February 2021 to October 2022, first as a UX Specialist II and later as a UX Specialist III.

Before their role at Change Healthcare, Justin worked as a UX Designer at Hub Technical Sales from July 2020 to January 2021. Justin also has experience as a self-employed Design & Research Consultant, providing UX consulting services for small product teams from January 2018 to July 2020. During this time, they collaborated with Right on Cue Services, a theater technology company, on the redesign of their flagship product, StageTracks.

Justin gained valuable experience as a UX Design Intern at Quad from August 2019 to October 2019. Justin worked closely with stakeholders to design mobile and web applications for a wide range of clients.

Additionally, Justin worked as a Web Designer at Scripps Institution of Oceanography from April 2018 to June 2018, where they collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to recreate the Mares Mexicanos website. Justin also served as a UX Design Intern at Medspace AI, an early-stage healthcare software startup, from November 2017 to January 2018. In this role, they focused on improving the quality of user responses during interviews and discovering new user needs.

Justin Dang holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human-Computer Interaction with a minor in Design from UC San Diego. Justin also completed the Principles of User Experience (UX) program at UC San Diego Extended Studies. In addition to their formal education, Justin has obtained several certifications in the field of User Experience. Justin completed the UX Deep Dive: Foundational Research, UX Foundations: Usability Testing, and UX Research Methods: Interviewing certifications from LinkedIn in 2021.
