Huizhen Zhang

Huizhen Zhang has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Huizhen began their career in 2007 at Bausch + Lomb as a Scientist/Team Leader. In 2011, they joined Perrigo Company plc as a Sr. Principal Scientist, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they became the Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Theravance Biopharma, Inc.

Huizhen Zhang completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medicinal Chemistry from Fudan University in 1998. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Medicinal Chemistry from the same university, which they completed in 2001. Later, they attended the University of the Pacific, where they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutics and Medicinal Chemistry in 2007.
