Giancarlo Pico

Giancarlo Pico has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and software development. Giancarlo started their career at Infra Construc (Canada) Corporation as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for the full development life-cycle, including information gathering, testing, and deployment. After that, they worked at Idea Rebel as a Web Developer, developing WordPress websites and performing quality assurance tasks.

Later, Giancarlo joined Hostopia as a Business Analyst, Technical Project Manager, and IT Delivery Manager. In these roles, they successfully managed and delivered large-scale projects, developed business requirements, and effectively led project teams. Giancarlo was also responsible for maintaining and improving retail platforms and portals, integrating various APIs, and executing day-to-day project activities.

Currently, Giancarlo is working as a Senior Project Manager at Therefore Interactive. In this role, they manage and launches medium to large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. Their responsibilities include establishing project direction, aligning teams and resources, and implementing solutions such as Drupal and JAMStack, with a focus on WCAG 2 compliance.

Giancarlo Pico holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in November 2017, Systems Analyst from Universidad Metropolitana in March 2011, and Network System Analyst from Universidad Metropolitana in March 2011.
