Lonnie Koenig, CISSP, CISA

Lonnie Koenig, CISSP, CISA has worked in the Information Technology field since 1994. From 1994 to 1997, they worked as a Senior Programmer for HSS, Inc. During this time, they led a team of developers on various programming projects and was responsible for designing and developing project plans for multiple applications. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Distributed Systems Programmer Analyst at Hartford Hospital, where they led 7 developers and numerous cross-functional teams to develop applications. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as a Senior Programmer Analyst at Navisys. During this time, they were responsible for 3 tier development using C/C++, PowerBuilder, and JSP technologies. From 2001 to 2002, they worked at Arbot LLC as a Project Manager and Senior Technical Lead. During this time, they were responsible for a team of programmers in geographically disparate locations and created applications with both a web front end and windows front end. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as the Director of Information Technology at Arbot LLC. During this time, they created and implemented a successful multi-year business plan to grow Arbot Software’s Programming and Information Technology divisions. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as the Vice President of Information Technology at OrlandoJobs.com. During this time, they implemented a new methodology of IT operations, negotiated contracts with VOIP providers, and created a single project to allow new websites to be deployed using the same codebase. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as the Director of IT and Development, Information Security Officer at Therigy. During this time, they directed a department of approximately 35 technology professionals and developed an improved process that allowed procedures in all business units to be more streamlined and efficient. Since 2018, they have worked as a Senior Principal Cyber Architect at Northrop Grumman.

Lonnie Koenig holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Central Connecticut State University. Lonnie also holds certifications from CompTIA, AXELOS, ISACA, (ISC)², Toastmasters International, and Microsoft. Lonnie'smost recent certification is CompTIA A+ ce Certification, obtained in September 2020. Lonnie also obtained ITIL® Foundation CPD from AXELOS in October 2019, and holds CISA and CISSP certifications from ISACA and (ISC)², respectively. Lonnie also holds a Certified Ethical Hacker certification, and a Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International, as well as a Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft.
