Rajiv Singhal

Rajiv Singhal has a diverse background in product management and leadership roles in the technology industry. Their most recent position is as the Head of Product Management, Energy at Therma°, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Product Management at Shoreline for a brief period in 2022.

Rajiv has also worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2019 to 2022, where they held two different roles. As a Solutions Architect and Strategist, they contributed to the development of solutions for global automotive and manufacturing verticals. Rajiv also served as a WW IoT Specialist Architect, leading a strategy for edge-to-cloud industrial IoT connectivity and data management using AWS services.

Before joining AWS, Rajiv was the Director of IoT & SaaS for Connected Vehicles & Charging Infrastructure at Proterra Inc from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they led the development of a cloud-based platform for connected vehicles, charging stations, and energy optimization applications.

Rajiv has also gained experience through self-employment as a Product Management Consultant in 2016. Prior to that, they held positions such as Director of Product Management at Knurld, where they focused on voice biometrics in IoT devices, and Director of Product Management at Arrayent, a B2B IoT SaaS platform.

Earlier in their career, Rajiv had roles at Enlighted Inc, Cisco, and various other companies. At Cisco, they served as a Senior Solutions Product Manager and played a key role in product roadmap development for smart grid solutions. Rajiv also worked on solutions related to wireless technology, security, and B2B integration.

Rajiv Singhal completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in the years 1984 to 1988. Rajiv then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, from the years 1988 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Rajiv Singhal has obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). These certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (obtained in September 2021), Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner (obtained in July 2019), Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate (obtained in July 2019), Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate (obtained in July 2019), and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate (obtained in April 2019).
