Eric Ainslie

Eric Ainslie is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in controls and instrumentation, demonstrated through current work as a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer at Thermal Energy International since May 2024. Previously, Eric served as Chief Engineer at iCOMAT, where development and commercialization of the ICOMAT RTS Carbon Tape Head were key responsibilities. Eric held leadership roles at Universal Balancing from January 2019 to May 2022, managing mechanical, controls hardware, and software departments. Prior experiences include positions as Lead Controls Hardware Engineer at SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions and Ice Pig Process Engineer at ZAP Ice Pigging Technology Ltd. Eric has also held directorial roles at ADHQ Engineering. Educational qualifications include an Engineering Doctorate in Systems Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Bristol.
