Corey Wilson

Corey Wilson has extensive experience in research and development, as well as thermal engineering. Corey worked as a Director of Research and Development at ThermAvant Technologies since February 2020, after serving as a Senior Thermal Engineer from April 2017 to February 2020. Prior to that, Corey was an Assistant Professor at Marine Engineering, Dalian Maritime University, where they conducted research on topics such as oscillating heat pipes and nanofluids. Corey also taught Thermodynamics to 60 students. Corey also worked as a Research Assistant Professor at Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Missouri, focusing on heat transfer and fluid dynamics. Corey was involved in designing and testing a heat pipe heat exchanger. Additionally, Corey worked as a Thermal Engineer at ThermAvant Technologies and as a Research Assistant, GANN Fellow Graduate Lecturer, and Teaching Assistant at Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Missouri, where they taught and assisted in various roles.

Corey Wilson completed their education at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Corey started their academic journey in 2000, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2005. Corey then pursued further studies, obtaining a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university between 2005 and 2006. Finally, they continued their educational pursuits by enrolling in a Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in 2011.
