Sambit Kumar Maharana

Sambit Kumar Maharana, AMIChemE, is a skilled professional in chemical engineering with significant experience in process engineering and innovation strategy. Currently serving as a Technologist at Thermax Limited since August 2022, Sambit focuses on developing low carbon solutions and supporting customers in achieving their decarbonization and ESG goals. Previously, Sambit worked as a Process Engineer at L&T Energy - CarbonLite Solutions, specializing in various thermal engineering and process systems. Additionally, Sambit has held leadership roles in design and research, including Vice President at Design Tab and Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Petroleum. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
