Leo Portillo is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Research & Development Software Engineering Manager at Thermon, Inc. since August 2020, Portillo has held various leadership roles, including Director of Application Development at HHSC and Director of Software Development at both Arrive Logistics and Forcepoint. Prior to these roles, Portillo significantly contributed to Walz Group, LLC. as Vice President of Software Development, overseeing a multi-year growth transformation recognized by prestigious awards. Portillo also has experience as the Director of Software Engineering at a consulting group and as Application Engineer Manager and Service Manager at Kronos.
