Uwe Michaelis

Uwe Michaelis is the founder of MICHAELIS BIOSCIENCE, where Uwe provides consulting services and operational support in the life science area, focusing on early stage drug development. With scientific expertise in targeted drug delivery systems, recombinant proteins, and non-viral nucleic acid delivery systems, Uwe also serves as Chief Operating Officer at Thermosome GmbH, overseeing CMC activities for a thermosensitive liposome project. Prior to their current roles, Uwe held various leadership positions in companies such as ImevaX, MediGene AG, Munich Biotech AG, MBT Munich Biotechnology GmbH, and Boehringer Mannheim GmbH. Uwe holds a Ph.D. in Yeast Genetics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
