Wally Moran

Wally Moran is an accomplished professional in the boating industry, currently serving as President of the Cruisers' Rights Network of North America since April 2020, where efforts focus on protecting boater rights through education, legislative engagement, and litigation against governmental violations. As President of North Channel Sailing since 2005, Wally has transformed the company into an e-commerce platform built on a strong social media presence. Wally has contributed as a videographer for TheSailingChannel, LLC since 2009, producing notable works such as "Sailing South: the First Timer's Guide to the ICW" and "Forbidding, Forbidden Cuba." Previous editorial roles include Cruising Editor for Waterway Guides from 2003 to 2016, and Contributing Editor for SAIL Magazine from 2006 to 2015, covering a range of topics related to cruising.
