Brett Nisbett

Brett Nisbett has a diverse work experience in the technology and telecommunications industries. In 2007, they joined the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission as a Senior Technical Specialist. During their time there, Brett advised the Commission on emerging technologies, developed operational policies and procedures, and assigned frequencies based on the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Spectrum plan. In 2010, they transitioned to theScore as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2021. During this time, they gained experience in payments and eventually became a Team Lead in that department. Currently, Brett is an Engineering Manager at theScore, leading the payments team.

Brett Nisbett pursued their education in a chronological manner. Brett first attended the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus from 2004 to 2007. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Later, from 2009 to 2010, Brett enrolled at the University of Waterloo to pursue a Masters degree in Software Engineering and Computer Engineering.
