Devika Purushothaman

Devika Purushothaman has extensive work experience starting from 2016 as a Finance Intern at STORYBOARD TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED. Devika then worked as a Program Analyst at Cognizant, undergoing a 3-month training program and receiving certification in computer science fundamentals and programming languages. Devika was also trained and certified in Pegasystem software for building software for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and digital automation process.

In 2018, Devika worked as a Data Analyst at boox.ai | AI for e-commerce, where they created an automated system for tracking and updating information in marketing campaign databases. Devika also provided insights from customer analytics to recommend the best channels for contacting prospective clients.

From 2018 to 2019, Devika worked as a Data Analyst (Rotman Management Analytics Project-Operations Management/Logistics and Supply Chain) at Hudson's Bay Company. Here, they conducted an analysis of factors influencing retail inventory levels and developed a predictive model for alerting stores about potential overstocking.

In 2019, they worked as a Business Analyst - Capital Markets at Scotia's for a short period before moving to Enercare Inc. as an Analyst in Data Strategy and Operations. Devika'srole at Enercare focused on analyzing data and implementing strategic initiatives.

Starting from 2021, Devika worked at Wattpad as a Data Analyst before transitioning to the role of Senior Analytics Engineer at theScore in 2023.

Devika Purushothaman began their education at CMR National Public School in 2000, where they completed their primary and secondary schooling. In 2012, they enrolled at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, which they completed in 2016. In 2017, Devika attended the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for a short period and obtained a Certificate of Competence in Data Mining. Devika'seducation continued at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Management Analytics degree, specializing in Management Analytics.
