Simran Jayakaran

Simran Jayakaran has a diverse background in product management and analysis. They most recently worked as an Associate Product Manager at theScore starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Product Manager at Paystone from 2022 to 2023, where they developed a roadmap for Sites products, led a rebranding project, implemented a successful upsell campaign, and increased site building efficiency. They also worked as a Product Manager at Tecsys (formerly OrderDynamics) from 2021 to 2021, and at Purolator Inc. from 2021 to 2021. Earlier in their career, Simran worked as a Product Specialist at Focal Healthcare in 2020, a Product Development Engineer at GoFleet in 2019, a Junior Business Analyst at Maple Leaf Foods Inc in 2018, and a Product Analyst at The Hospital for Sick Children in 2018. In these roles, they gained experience in software development, quality assurance, data analysis, and project management.

Simran Jayakaran attended the University of Waterloo from 2017 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering. In addition, they obtained certifications in Project Management Level 1 from the Oxford Home Study College in April 2020, as well as certifications in being a Biotalent Canada Grant Recipient from BioTalent Canada in January 2020. Simran also acquired a WHMIS certification from the University of Waterloo in September 2017.
