Rhys Morgan

Rhys Morgan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Rhys is currently working at Thesis as an Engineering Manager since July 2021. Prior to this, Rhys worked at Unit4 for 16 years, from September 2005 to June 2021, in the role of Unit4 Students Technical Lead. Before that, they worked at Distinction Systems Ltd as a Students Technical Lead from April 2003 to September 2005. Rhys also gained experience as a Software Developer at Microcompass Systems Ltd from August 1998 to April 2003. Their career started at Nimbus Manufacturing (Uk) Ltd, where they worked as a Network Support Technician from September 1996 to September 1997.

Rhys Morgan's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Aberystwyth University. Prior to that, Rhys attended Ysgol Gyfun Y Strade in Llanelli, although no degree or field of study is specified for that period.

In addition to formal education, Rhys has acquired several certifications. These include a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org obtained in December 2020. Other certifications include R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera obtained in July 2015, as well as The Computing Technology Inside Your Smartphone from edX obtained in May 2015.

Additional certifications earned by Rhys include a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance obtained in April 2012. In 2011, Rhys received the MCPD Windows Developer Course with VS2010 Certificate Of Achievement. In 2008, Rhys completed the KeyTurn Management Training Programme, and in 1996, Rhys attained the NEBS Management Certificate.
