Carly Zakin

Carly Zakin is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of theSkimm, a daily newsletter that provides its subscribers with a rundown of the most important news stories. Prior to their current position, Zakin served as an Associate Producer for NBC Peacock Productions, HigherWrite, and Sirens Media. Carly began their career as a Production Assistant for MSNBC Longform before moving on to CNBC, where they worked as a Production Associate.

Carly Zakin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Political Science, Cinema Studies, and Creative Writing.
