Laura Flores

Laura Flores, M.Ed. is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in Special Education Advocacy and Guidance. Currently serving as an Artist at Asa Artworks since June 2021, Laura also holds the position of Contact Educational Diagnostician I with The Stepping Stones Group, LLC, and has been involved in assessing Special Education eligibility for bilingual students at Cumberland Therapy Services, LLC since March 2016. With a background as Executive Director at DFW Metro Special Education Advocates from April 2017 to June 2019 and as an Educational Diagnostician at Arlington ISD from August 2011 to June 2015, Laura has been actively engaged in Special Education Planning since 1994, beginning as a parent and later transitioning into various educational roles. Academic credentials include a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Diagnostician from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Oregon State University.
