Juha Tennivaara

Juha Tennivaara has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Juha most recently worked at Yaskawa Environmental Energy / The Switch, where they held various roles from 2009 to present. As the Head of Sales, they led and developed the sales function of the company, implemented strategic initiatives, maintained customer relationships, and negotiated sales agreements. Prior to this, they served as the Business Development Manager, responsible for global business development in marine electric permanent magnet machines and power electronics. Juha also worked as a Key Account Manager and a Technical Account Manager, overseeing multi-million euro customer accounts and leading successful serial production ramp-up projects. Earlier in their career, Tennivaara held roles such as Development Manager, Production; Site Manager; Production Engineer; Trainee, Operations Development; and Trainee, Purchasing Engineer, where they gained experience in supply chain management, production processes, and ERP system implementation. Before joining Yaskawa, they worked at Farmi Forest as a Subcontracting Engineer and at Outokumpu Stainless Oy as a Process Worker. Tennivaara's work experience showcases their expertise in sales and business development, customer management, project management, and manufacturing processes.

Juha Tennivaara completed their Matriculation Examination at Tornion Yhteislyseon Lukio from 1999 to 2002. Juha then continued their education at Savonia University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Industrial Engineering and Management. In 2005, Juha had the opportunity to be an Exchange Student at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Juha further pursued their education at LUT University from 2008 to 2010, earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Management. Recently, from 2020 to 2022, Juha completed an Executive MBA with a specialization in Innovation Management at LUT University.
