Jake Whisenant

Jake Whisenant has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jake most recently worked at Theta Lake as a Commercial Account Executive, where they were responsible for managing accounts and developing new business. Prior to that, they held positions at Theta Lake as an Account Development Manager and Sales Development Representative, utilizing AI and Deep Learning to detect compliance risks in video and other media content. Before joining Theta Lake, Jake worked as an Account Director at CACOCO, Inc. Jake also gained experience in the food industry as a Farmer's Market Buyer and Produce Clerk at Isla Vista Food Co-op. Additionally, Jake's early career included roles as a Permaculturist, Gardener, and Compost Expert at Associated Students of UC Santa Barbara.

Jake Whisenant attended UC Santa Barbara from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Professional Writing. Jake was enrolled in the Honors Program during their time at the university.
