Andre Gutnik

Data Scientist at ThetaRay

Andre Gutnik has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. Andre began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Cogniteam in 2015, followed by internships at Teadit Group and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as the CMO and Business Developer for Nagara, a Japanese gastronomy business in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2019, Andre transitioned into the field of technical pre-sales and business engineering, working as a Business Engineer at IBI-Tech and later as a Technical Pre-Sales Advisor at PRS Geo-Technologies until 2021.

In 2021, Andre embarked on a Data Science journey, becoming a Data Science Fellow at Israel Tech Challenge, where they underwent an intensive training course in collaboration with leading technology companies. During this time, they focused on practical experience and skill development in areas such as probability and statistics, exploratory data analysis, modeling, and machine learning.

Continuing their Data Science journey, Andre worked as a Data Science Intern at Natural Intelligence from June to September 2021, and then as a Data Science Intern at OpenWeb from September 2021 to March 2022.

Most recently, Andre joined ThetaRay in February 2022 as a Data Scientist.

Andre Gutnik started their education at Colégio Israelita Brasileiro A. Liessin, where they completed their Ensino Fundamental e Ensino Médio from 1997 to 2008. Andre then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, graduating from 2011 to 2017. In 2015, they participated in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program at Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management. Andre later obtained a degree in Hebrew from Ulpan Etzion Haifa, studying from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, in 2021, they attended Israel Tech Challenge (ITC) as a Data Science Fellow, focusing on the field of Data Science.
