Gal Hagag

Gal Hagag has held a variety of roles in the data science and finance fields since 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they worked in the Finance and Sales Department of the Israel Air Force as a Sales and Marketing Officer. Gal then moved to the HR Department of the Israel Air Force and served as FP&A Manager for Personnel Budgets from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2019, they worked in the Finance and Sales Department of the Israel Air Force as a Data Analyst Team Leader (Major) and Finance Planning and Modeling Analyst. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, they held the roles of Senior Data Scientist and Team Manager and Data Scientist at Data Tapas. Currently, they are the Head of Data Science at ThetaRay.

Gal Hagag's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2006 to 2009, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration, Finance from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2012 to 2014, a Master of Science - MS in Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University from 2020 to 2022, a Data Science Professional from NAYA-College from 2018 to 2019, and a data Science from Practicum USA in 2020. Additionally, Hagag has obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Neural Networks and Convolutional Neural Networks Essential Training (2020), Power BI Training (2020), Tableau Training (2019.1), Databases Programming (2019), Data Analyst Certificate (2019), and Data Fluency: Exploring and Describing Data (2019).
