Hugo Tilmouth

Hugo Tilmouth is the co-founder and CEO of theUp.co, a social media platform that helps people connect with their passions and connect with others who share those passions. Prior to founding theUp.co, Hugo was a business development executive at Pavegen Systems Ltd., working on new installations for clients such as Shell, Formula E, and Westfield shopping centers. Hugo also worked with InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd. on financial models for future solar and wind projects.

Hugo has always been passionate about music and event planning. Hugo was a DJ for Juicy Music Group for two years before starting their own event planning company, Immersion Events. Hugo has also interned with NCL Innovation, Google, Anshen + Allen, Deutsche Bank, and Delap and Waller.

Hugo is a creative and innovative thinker who is always looking for new ways to connect people with their passions. Hugo is dedicated to their work and is always looking for ways to improve theUp.co and make it the best social media platform for connecting people with their passions.

Hugo Tilmouth attended the University of Exeter from 2013 to 2017, earning a master's degree in renewable energy engineering. This degree combines energy generation from renewable sources with aspects of dynamic energy control systems, IT, smart grid, and energy storage solutions. The coursework for this degree provides skills for the renewable energy sector, with business, accounting and project management skills. The modules included electrical engineering, mathematics, project management, energy policy, accounting, and coding. Hugo achieved a first in dissertation and placed 2nd highest in the year's dissertation marks.
