Rebecca Arruda

Event Planner at The Women's Center

Rebecca Arruda has extensive experience in event planning and coordination, currently serving as an Event Planner at New Bedford Women's Center, Inc. since 2007. In this role, Rebecca develops events focused on Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, manages annual events such as the Candle Light Vigil, and creates marketing campaigns to enhance community awareness and participation. Additionally, Rebecca held the position of Education Coordinator and Housing Specialist at The Women's Center from 2009 to 2013. Rebecca holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Roger Williams University, earned between 2001 and 2005.

We are attuned to those of low and moderate income, Black, indigenous, people of color, and non-English speaking members of the community. We serve women, children, and men from the cities and towns that make up the SouthCoast of Massachusetts.
