Jashin Lin has a diverse work experience. Jashin began their career in 2009 as a Media Specialist for the Missouri Office of Administration, where they created and edited videos, photos, blog posts, and social media posts for the governor, MO. gov, and various state departments. Jashin also reported, shot and edited videos and photos for the College of Engineering website, as well as student competition teams. In 2008, they served as a media volunteer for the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, where they acted as a flash quotes reporter and English-speaking media liaison for news photographers. In 2015, Jashin worked as an Order Processing Specialist for Select Brands Inc, where they managed the Amazon account and doubled sales from the previous year. Jashin also expanded the catalog offerings and took over Amazon-related sales order processing and invoicing. In 2017, they worked as an Employee for AppleOne Employment Services and Morgan Hunter, where they processed documents quickly and efficiently with no errors and routinely exceeded daily goals. Jashin also assisted the Master Data department in transitioning to new corporate management software and organized, scanned and indexed a backlog of over 8,000 credit card applications into an online database. In 2018, Jashin worked as an Accounting Technician for ReeceNichols Real Estate. Currently, they are a Digital Marketing Specialist for the National WWI Museum and Memorial.

Jashin Lin attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor's of Journalism in Convergence Journalism.
